Warren Robert Frosch Jr.

Warren Robert Frosch, Jr. passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015 at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of Bessie Gagliano Frosch for 47 years. Loving father of Robert Joseph Frosch (Maria Tuttle Frosch). Proud grandfather of Elizabeth Nicole Frosch and Thomas Robert Frosch. Son of the late Warren Robert Frosch, Sr. and Elva Mary Puneky. Brother of the late Marilyn Austin and Lurlene Seeger. In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Warren proudly served in the Merchant Marines during World War II as a radio operator. He received an honorable discharge from the Coast Guard for his service. After the war, he continued to serve in the Merchant Marines and later in the Louisiana National Guard. Warren worked for AT&T for over 30 years as an installer/repairman and plant assigner. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus - St Dominic Council 3729. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Visitation on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at ST. DOMINIC CATHOLIC CHURCH, 775 Harrison Ave., New Orleans, LA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 PM. He will be laid to rest with military honors in Greenwood Cemetery.
