Zoe Ellen Gay, loving daughter of Catherine Rizzuto Gay and the late Robert Gay, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her residence in Breaux Bridge, LA at the age of 57. Zoe is survived and fondly remembered by her siblings Robert Gay (Narda), Kim Demeer, Robbie Maynard (Kevin); her Godchild Cara Williams (Jason); her Godfather James S. Rizzuto; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Zoe was preceded in death by her brother Timothy Conners. Zoe was a native of New Orleans, LA, a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish currently residing in Breaux Bridge, LA where she enjoyed a long career as a medical decoder. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, May 7th from 10:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service in Zoe’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony.
