OBITUARY

Bonnie Jean Hade

January 23, 1948January 7, 2019

AND THIS IS THE PROMISE WHICH HE HIMSELF MADE TO US; ETERNAL LIFE. 1 JOHN 2:25 Bonita Jean Hade, 70, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania went home to be with the Lord on January 7, 2019 with her family by her side after a brave fight against cancer. Bonnie was born on January 23, 1948 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Most of her life she attended the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greencastle, Pennsylvania and loved to study the bible and verses while at home. She truly was in love with the Lord. She retired from the Greencastle-Antrim School District in 2013, where she absolutely loved working with the children. Bonnie also had a great love for pets of all kinds, including her own three babies, Willow, Mia and Chloe. They were spoiled tremendously and I’m sure they will miss her as much as the rest of us. She was also known for always keeping her house in order and had a hobby of collecting antiques and country décor. Bonnie loved her family and friends dearly. She was always ready to lend a hand or an ear, whichever you needed. Everyone knew her as a kind and compassionate person. Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lawrence and her father, Ralph Lawrence. She is survived by her loving fiance’, Thomas Beaulieu of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, her daughter and son in law, Robin and Brian Lindsey of Cape Coral, Florida, her sister and brother in law, Barbara and Floyd Gayman of Stateline, Pennsylvania, brother, Brian Lawrence of Baltimore, Maryland, sister, Patty Pietropaoli, of Delmont, Pennsylvania, Aunt and Uncle (like a brother and sister), Sandra and Jimmy Reech of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and four grandchildren, Sarah Schickel of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, Tanner Schickel, Peyton Lindsey and Ryan Lindsey of Cape Coral, Florida. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019, at the Chapel of Robert L Hendricks Funeral Home in Parklawns Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, 3218 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, Pa 17201 at 11:00 a.m. At the request of the family, Bonnie always wanted to help the animal shelters so please make any donations to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter in Bonnie’s honor. 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania 17201.
