Edith S. Ewan

Mrs. Ewan was born July 30, 1939 in Corbin, Ky.

Edith graduated from Tacoa Falls High School in Georgia and went to college for 2 years.

She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Edith also enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William Ewan, son, Jeff Ewan of Fayetteville, PA., son Bob Ewan and wife Brenda of Etters, PA., daughter, Chris Lindsay and husband Rich of Shippensburg, PA., brother, Roy Daniels sister, Linda Caughorn,and niece, Joy Daniels of Knoxville, TN., grandsons, Jeffery Ewan (wife Brianna), Will Ewan, and Chase Lindsay granddaughter, Jessi Lindsay, great grandson Liam Ewan , and several nieces and nephews.

Edith is predeceased by 2 brothers and 5 half-sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at the Robert L. Hendricks funeral home, 3218 Philadelphia Ave. Chambersburg, at noon on Tuesday, June 9. The Rev. Karrenn Hamm will be the officiant.

Edith’s family will receive friends Tuesday, June 9, at the funeral home starting at 11am.

Interment will be immediately after the funeral at Norland Cemetery in Chambersburg.
