So sorry for loss. I am a member of the Kiwanis Club of Winchester as was Ed. Ed had brought fun to our club with his story telling and great laugh. I stood by Ed cutting sausage at our last two or three Pancake Days. He made our chore go by fast with telling us stories of his young self. I will miss standing by him.

Hi yes my name is shannon. I currently work at the eagles as a food server. Mr Ed would come in almost everyday to have lunch or dinner. He was very sweet kind and loving. He would warm our girls hearts up everytime he would walk through that door. He would also bring us candy and flowers. He would always find the best flowers some how. We all girls at the eagles 824 Winchester va will miss him dearly. May he Rest in Peace.

At young age of only 83, Ed could still out drive me as we played many fun golf rounds together. He was a greeaat neighbor feeding treats to our dog Riley and breaking bread together at breakfast and lunch. What a true compatriot as one of our nations true heroes!

Condolences to Ed's family. I played many rounds of golf over the years with Ed. Sometimes we didn't play too good but we always had fun. I called him just about every week over the past few years to catch up on the latest Stephens City gossip and Ed could lay it on you. I will miss him terribly. Rest in peace my good friend.
