Franklin L McClure

Born on April 12, 1941 in Marion, PA to the late Bruce and Flo (Mehaffey) McClure.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Eugene McClure and Sister, Helen Dice.

Surviving Franklin is his loving wife Althea (Auman) McClure; his children, Silas McClure of St. Thomas PA, Sandra Javorka (husband Steve) of Winder Georgia, and Tim McClure (wife Cathy) of Shippensburg, PA; grandchildren, Damien, Tyler, Spencer, Heather, Ashley, Brigette, Silas, Kayla, Rick, Mary Ann as well as 8 Great grandchildren/

Franklin worked at Manitowoc Company (Grove) for 27 years. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and boating. He also loved long drives through the mountains. He loved to tell stories and his most lovable saying was “Watch the Ice”! No matter what season it was.

A visitation will be held on Monday December 27, 2021 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Parklawns Funeral Home; 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
