James Elden Haulman, 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20th, 2021, at West Shore Hospital surrounded by family. Born in Chambersburg, PA on November 9th, 1940, to the late Glenn and Mary (Walters) Haulman; James attended Shippensburg High School.
James was married June 3rd, 1961, to his wife Helen Marie (Steever) Haulman of 58 years. He was a farmer, barber and retired miller for Bay State Milling Company. Following retirement, he proudly helped out working at his son’s restaurant business, Al’s Pizza and Subs of Enola, PA. Jim was a sweet and kind person who will be dearly missed by all his loved ones. Pap Pap enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, enjoying jigsaw puzzles, coffee ice cream and watching old westerns.
James is survived by two brothers, Donald (Lewistown) and John Haulman (Newville), a daughter, Diane M. (Haulman) Reisinger (Daniel) of Dillsburg and a son, Alan J. Haulman (Debbie) of East Pennsboro; five grandchildren, Michael Johnson (Cindy), Bret Haulman, Mikala Haulman, Jon Reisinger (Lauren) and Jenny Siguenza (Leon) and 7 great grandchildren, Taevon, Malachi, Jazmine, Alyssa, Roslynne, Vin and Adi.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and an infant son, James E. Haulman.
A public visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00pm pm Wednesday August 25, 2021 at Parklawns Funeral Home; 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Parklawns Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum. Masks will be required for those attending the visitation; we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
