Born December 28, 1943 in Bath County VA, Jerry was the son of the late Gratton and Nancy (Cauley) May. He was also preceded by his brother Roger May of Vernal, UT.
He was the owner of the Warm Springs Body Shop in Chambersburg, PA. He did auto body work for 50 years.
He loved hunting, walking in the wood and harvesting ginseng and mushrooms. He also loved to fish and play golf.
In addition to his wife of 48 years, Carol, he is survived by his 6 children; Carrie Tidd of Covington, VA, Mary Reynolds of Newport News, VA, Lois Randozzo of Millboro, VA, Kim May of Hagerstown, MD, Jamie Gress of Waynesboro, PA, Heather Lemmon of Chambersburg, PA , stepdaughters; Deanna Stiver of Waynesboro, PA, Janine Ridgeley of Chambersburg, PA, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
