Jo Anne was born on June 25, 1941 in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Roy Elwood Price and Mary Joanna (Minemier) Price.
She is survived by her loving husband Rodger of 65 years; 3 children, Michael S., wife Paula (Dennison) of Denton, Maryland, Rodger Craig Miller of St. Thomas and Kimberly Jo McCray, husband Gary of Mercersburg; one brother, Donald J. Price, wife Suz (Irvin) Price of Tyrone; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Toby Lynn.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She inspired so many with her example of compassion and caring for others. She served 2 missions for her church with her husband – 8 months in Kensington, Maryland at the Washington Temple and 18 months in Fort Lupton, Colorado.
She loved spending time with family, doing genealogy, scrap booking and cooking.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 10:00-11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; 50 Ragged Edge, Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am. A private interment will take place on Thursday January 2, 2025 in Parklawns Memorial Gardens; 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
