Joann Rudisill

Born Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Wadel) and Fred Beam.

JoAnn is predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Lester and Lee Beam; and grandson, Tyler Peters.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Rudisill; daughter Donna and husband David Sommerville; son, J.R. Swackhammer and significant other Angela Baker; son, Joseph and wife Heather Swackhammer; brother, Larry Beam; sister, Linda and Husband Howard Sweigart; step-daughter, Tammy Peters and significant other Jeremy Atherton; and four grandchildren, Aubrei, Chelsea, Kayla, and Keith.

JoAnn retired from Nitterhouse Concrete after 18 years of employment. She was known by all as a nature lover who enjoyed feeding the wildlife, especially deer, camping, and planting flowers. She also loved watching races, playing bingo, shopping, and being in the kitchen where she tried out new recipes for her and her husband to enjoy.

A funeral will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Parklawns Funeral Home, 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
