Joseph W. McBeth, 82, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020.

Born in Wakarusa, Indiana, to the late Paul W. and S. Esther (McCulloh) McBeth.

He is preceded in death by – Ethan McBeth (brother), Lois McBeth (sister-in-law) and Gene Walls (son-in-law).

Surviving Joe is his loving wife of 62 years, R. Marie McBeth; his daughter, Kay M. McBeth of St. Thomas; sons, Stanley J. McBeth (wife Teresa) of Chambersburg and Gary L. McBeth (wife Kim) of Chambersburg; 3 brothers, David, Ethan and John McBeth; sister, Rachel E. Brand; 8 grandchildren. Joe was the co-founder of McBeth Corporation servicing Christian Bookstores and enjoyed camping for many years. He was also involved in various church activities especially in areas involving camping.

A visitation will be held from 9:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Parklawns Funeral Home, 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA. Burial will be held at a later date in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christian Retreat Center; 369 CRC Drive, East Waterford, PA 17021.

I have so many fond memories of Joe, his passion for the Christian Retreat Center, his passion for Jesus, and his great sense of humor. I loved working with him and beside him as we labored for CRC. Joe will be missed by many, his impact on people will not be forgotten, miss you brother!!
