Patricia Pat Maxine Pena

Born on January 14, 1939, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the first child to the late Max and Hazel Sweeney.

Pat was a graduate of Boonsboro High School.

She was a member of The Christ Reformed Church.

Pat was very active in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives, and enjoyed attending their sporting and extracurricular activities.

She is survived by son, Glenn Gregory Holder of Chambersburg, PA, son, Barry Keith Holder and wife, Naomi Spencer, of Fort Washington, MD, daughter, Marla Beth Westley of Greencastle, PA, daughter, Karen Elizabeth Holder-Payne and husband, Stanford, of Hagerstown, MD, son, Christophe Allen Pena of Chambersburg, PA, sister, Vicki Lowery of Williamsport, MD, aunt, Peggy Hildebrand and husband, Jack, of Hagerstown, MD, and nine wonderful grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by two husbands, Glenn W. Holder and Gregory A. Pena; a sister, Pete Hamburg; and a brother, Jerry Sweeney.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Christ Reformed Church in Sharpsburg, MD. The Rev. Donald Stevenson will officiate.

Family will receive friends at church on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, from 6-8 p.m.
