Doc how I loved you my dear friend. And teacher. I just saw this today was thinking of you and Diane. You were so very special. And missed our laughs in the office. And our dinners we would get together. I've been back in Illinois almost 10 yrs now. Cant believe it's been that long since we saw each other. Love you Diane. Will always love Doc.

On July 1, 1981 when I was 7yrs old I stabbed my eye with a pair of scissors my Doctor sent me to see Dr Folks and he saved my eye. When I get my eye exams now everyone is amazed on the work he did to save it. Thank you for everything you did for me and may you rest in peace.

I'm sorry I'm so late in sending my condolences.  Gwyn told me of Al's passing, and I was so saddened.  We share that special bond, one that so many can't understand, and I mourn your loss with you.  I have thought of you so often over the years and your kindness during George's illness.  Now that Gwyn finally gave me your address, I'm writing as well to ensure you receive my sympathy and love,
