My deepest condolences to Randy, Anita's daughters and grandchildren and surviving family.  Anita and I became fast friends soon after I became employed as a fitness instructor at Ironoaks at Sun Lakes fitness center.   She came early to chat with me before class and we would work out together or just talk from the heart.   I called her the ambassador to my classes because she would welcome in new people and teach them the ropes.   We decided to start playing pickleball together; so, after a intro lesson we headed to Tennis Cabana to get loaner paddles and thus began the journey of the "Dinkin' Dames."   It wasn't long until Anita had helped pull in other friends from our fitness class, and the likes to play with us once, twice, three times (a day) or week.   I can still hear her say, "I'm not running to that..."    Anita was instrumental in making my birthday last year one of the best of my life with a surprise celebration as I arrived to work.  She invited my husband, and decorated (I hear with Randy's help) the table with beautiful flowers, and other fun things.    She touched me heart with sincere texts, with helpful comments about my classes, and being one of the best friends.   We had plans to write her life story together.   I'm sorry we ran out of time.   Despite her health limitations, Anita was positive, loving, kind, strong, determined, courageous, daring, and humble.    It was clear that  Randy was her soulmate and that her kids were top priority.   I miss her every day.   Rest in peace my dear friend.   Till we meet again I will cherish your memory.   

The short time that Anita was in our lives were wonderful and very memorable.  She loved to laugh and tell us of her great love of Randy, her daughters and grandchildren.  She always wanted to keep things simple and lighthearted.  We always called her the miracle woman because had been through so much and always fought a great fight to shine another day.  Now she will always laugh and smile down on us from above instead of beside us.  Our love to her family and friends what an incredible gift to have her in your life.

As Anita entered Heaven, Granny was there with out-streatched arms to welcome her. They laughed and giggled as they did,  so many years ago. Our deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers go out to Anita's family and friends. Many years ago (about or around 1993), Anita made 4 beautiful Christmas Tree Ornaments for me. Every year I place them on our Christmas tree. May you rest in peace, Anita.

I met Anita at aqua class. She was always so happy and positive about everything. It was fun to hear her talk about her husband, dog , and kids. She will be missed.

I echo Tracey's obituary. Anita was so special and I was so blessed to have known her even if it was only for a few months. Please feel free  to email me how I can be of service whether it is for food, picking people up from the airport, whatever!!
There is a star next to Anita's name on my prayer list because she's won the race and is in heaven rooting for all of her family and friends.
My husband died 25 years ago last month at 54. He has never spoken to me but he has given me multiple signs that are very subtle. I pray you'll be aware when Anita is around.

Always loved her smile and her enthusiasm for life.  

I have known Anita since kindergarten. We grew up together  i could probably write a book on all my memories with her.  She was always there for me no matter what. Her dad once said you two should just get married cause your always together and when you do argue you sound like a married couple lol. When we married our first husbands it was a month apart and had our first child a month apart and no it wasn't planned that way. When i called my sister to let her know she said I'm so sorry i cant imagine what it feels like to lose a sister,because that's what Anita was to me. To the girls and her hubby you will be in my prayers take comfort in knowing she rests easy now in our Lords arms.  

I was so sorry to hear that Anita passed away.

She always came into the Fitness Center,  so she can check in for Pickle ball or the Aqua class,  she always had a smile on her face.

She will be missed..

Anita was such a special lady!  She dearly loved her husband Randy and never missed an opportunity to share stories about the wonderful life that they shared.  She was so proud of her daughters, Kristen, Cori and Lauren, and loved being a grandmother to their children.  We talked about them all so much, I truly felt  like I knew them too.  Anita was so spiritual and so kind.  She will have a special place in my heart for as long as I live.  My deepest sympathy to her dear family.  We all have a very special angel watching over us!  I will miss you  always my dear friend.  😢😘

Anita was the most inclusive person I know .. she was so welcoming when I was a "newbie" in Sun Lakes. She greeted me in water aerobics, talked me into pickleball, and introduced me to everyone she knew. I enjoyed her sense of humor, honesty, and her "trucker mouth" as she called it ... just genuine kind person. I will miss her.

She spoke highly of her husband, Randy, the girls, and her grandchildren. I will pray for peach and comfort for each of you as you grieve the loss of Anita.
