Audry "Pauline" Leach

Audry “Pauline” Hanna Leach 92 was born February 23, 1921 in Fleetwood, Oklahoma and passed away on June 22, 2013 in Chandler, Arizona. She was the daughter of Hattie Florence Skinner Hanna Dota and Otto Hanna. Her step-father was Luigi (Louis) Dota. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ross E. Leach, Colonel, U.S. Army; they were married 50 years until Ross passed in 1992.

She is survived by her two daughters, Paula J. Engle and her husband, Clifford L. of Tampa, Florida and Cheryl A. Whitmer and her husband, George of Redding, California. She leaves 4 grandchildren, Clifford Ross Engle and his wife, Melinda Sue Engle, her beloved granddaughter by marriage, of Chandler, Arizona; Lyle Paul Engle and his wife Amy of Tampa, Florida, George Daniel Whitmer and Jennifer Lee Whitmer of Redding, California; and 10 great grandchildren, Breigh-Anna D. Engle, Bridgette M. Engle, Kyleigh A. Engle, Olivia G. Engle, Gunnar J. Engle, Nicole L. Rife, Cameron Whitmer, Monica Whitmer, Miranda Whitmer and Maddison Whitmer and her long time Christian friend and extended family member, Paul Dobbs.

A visitation will be held, Friday, June 28, 2013 from 10:45 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. with funeral services to start at 11:30 a.m. at Valley of the Sun Funeral Home, located at 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ. 85248. Burial to follow services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the VA National Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona.
