Barbara Ann Canchola

Barbara lived a full and joyful life marked by a celebratory spirit, an uplifting presence, and a steadfast love for the people who mattered most. With a strong Catholic faith, Barbara carried grace and devotion into everyday life, offering comfort, strength, and steady encouragement to those around her.

In 1998, Barbara married her beloved husband, Antonio R. Canchola. Together they built a life rooted in companionship, faith, and family. Barbara is survived by her husband Antonio R. Canchola; daughter Carrie Montoya (Robert); sons Mark English and Kevin English (Rebecca); grandchildren Georgia (Kaston), Sophie, Chloe, and Olivia; sister Betty Palo; nieces Betsy, Monica, and Nicole; and dear friend Kay Fischer. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Josie Bilek.

Barbara’s happiest moments were often the simplest ones—traveling, spending time with friends, and being surrounded by family. Her warmth and steady care made gatherings brighter, conversations easier, and ordinary days feel like something to celebrate.

The family extends special thanks to Kay Fischer for her enduring dedication and friendship to Tony and Barbara throughout the years. Barbara will be remembered with gratitude and love, and her life will continue to be celebrated in the hearts of all who knew her.
