Bertha was born in the family home on Alameda St., the future site of the Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles California, on Monday the 11th of September 1922 at 10:30 a.m.
Bertha was highly respected by family and friend's alike. She was very very kind, sweet and generous. She was born with a servant's heart which became evident at a young age. She led by example. If there was a need she did her best to help in any way she could, in her gentle, quiet and humble way. She laughed easily, loved butterflies, enjoyed chicken wings, coloring, music and her favorite color was lavender. As a young woman she enjoyed CHoward's Violet mints and wore a gardenia in her hair to work. She had admirable work ethics which she applied to every job she had in the retail industry and as a bi-lingual Small Claim's Adviser in the Downtown Los Angeles County Consumer Affair's Department. She received a commendation for Employee of the month on August 1991 and retired on October 25th, 2004 after 14 year and 5 months at the age of 82. Her smile that lit up her face and anywhere she was will long be remembered in the mind's of anyone who met her and all of those who cared and loved her.
Bertha is survived by her sister, Alice Siller, her children Juan Manuel Perez(Beatrice), Celia Acosta Ortega, Jesus Samuel Anguiano and Jeanne Bertha Anguiano, Six grandchildren and their spouses, 9 great grandchildren, 3 sister in-law's, and many nieces, nephews and friend's
