I was the neighbor girl who lived across the street from Betty and Don in Sparta WI, until they built and moved to a different part of town.  Oddly, my husband and I bought the house they built when they sold and moved to Arizona.  I have sweet memories of Betty and Don...too many to write about here....but, my heartfelt memory is the one of babysitting for their dear daughter with Leukemia who passed away at age 5.  Watching a mother mourn the loss of a child, left a lasting impression on me.
Betty was always active and loved to play golf.  She always had a smile.  I have loved and honored the home that they built, and raised my 3 sons in that home.  The small bottle of holy water she left in a cupboard is still with us.  Her blessings have meant the world to us.  

I know she has lost several children....but hope that her reunion with Don and Mike, Bugger, Jeff and Lauri is joyful.

I'm so sorry for your loss. No one should have to experience such pain. But the bible offers hope found at Acts 24:15 where a resurrection is promised. Meditating on this scripture and others has helped many through hard times like these.
