Beverly Cross Bender of Sun Lakes, Arizona, passed away on November 19, 2016. She was born in upstate New York on October 19, 1922, and graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in home economics. On July 21, 1945, she married Bob, her childhood sweetheart. She lived and worked in Fayetteville, New York before retiring to Arizona. She is survived by her husband Robert F. Bender, children: Susan Bennett, Carol Bender, Donna (Arthur) Meyers, Douglas Bender, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed sewing, square dancing and volunteering at the Chandler Hospital. No services are planned at this time.
