Carl Anthony McLaughlin - age 38, passed away suddenly at home in Maricopa, AZ on Thursday, December 19, 2013. Carl was born in Willoughby, OH on October 18, 1975, the son of Carl Thomas and Terry (Fuller) McLaughlin. Growing up in Ohio he was an avid sports fan. Upon graduation from high school, he joined the U.S. Army which he served for eight years and saw duty in Bosnia and Germany. After being discharged from the military, Carl moved to Arizona which was the perfect setting for his life-long passion for golf. In Arizona, he became a golf pro to many other golfers and was still able to find the time to complete his A.A. degree. Carl was a friend for life to many people.
Carl is survived by his father and step-mother, Carl and Dawn Marie; his mother, Terry; sister, Carrie (Kevin) Hinton; a niece and a nephew; Grandma Rose and numerous other relatives.
Family and friends are invited to attend 4:00 PM Memorial Services at The Duke Golf Course, 42660 Rancho El Dorado Parkway, Maricopa, AZ 85138 on Saturday, January 4, 2014.
