To Carole's family: 
I know this comes way late, but I was compelled to offer you all my late condolences on Carole's passing.  She popped into memory recently, and so with the advent of the internet (which they didn't have when I was one of her students back in 1978) - I was led here. 

I'm sorry for your loss, but so grateful for her presence in the world. 

"Mrs. Tucker" was that one teacher at WTHS that changed the life of a troubled teen,  with her compassion and her caring, and her guidance.  That kid was me.  She alone was the only Teacher that took the time to take me aside, and talk to me, and help me navigate a rough period in my life while furthering my love of English and education in general.  She was the only one. 

I wanted you all to know that.  I'm sure  you have more than a million memories to comfort you and know what an amazing human being she was, but I also wanted you to know that I'm probably not the only one that she helped to guide into a secure adulthood. 

I will always think of her with love, and the highest esteem. 

May she rest in eternal peace.   Thank you, Mrs. Tucker. 

I am soo sorry to hear about Carole.  I worked witH her at prudential.  We went to the Phila flower show a few times and we spent a week together in asbury park while at Pru.  Carole was soo much fun to be with. I just heard that she passed last year.  My thoughts and prayers are with you Woody and the boys.

Dear Woody & Family,  while we just met you both recently, we want to express out heartfelt sympathy for your great loss, Woody. We are so sad to learn of Carole's passing.  What a wonderful, interesting and caring person we will remember, always. We have missed our Trivia Games and I know Trivia will miss Carole's vast recall and intelligence.
