Carolyn Mikutis Rossi

Carolyn Mikutis Rossi, 82, went to her permanent home with her Lord on June 30, 2026. Born on April 15, 1944, in Newburgh, NY, Carolyn was cherished and beloved by all who knew her, and her absence will be felt deeply by family, and friends.

Carolyn attended Spencerian Business School. She later worked as a merchandiser, bringing steady dedication and care to her work.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Eugene Rossi. She is also survived by her sons, Christopher Rossi and Marcus Rossi; her daughter, Darlene Franciosa; her grandchildren, Niko Franciosa, Larissa Franciosa Latham, Nathan Rossi, and Nicole Rossi; and her daughter in law, Lori Rossi. She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Helen Mikutis.

Carolyn found joy in the simple, meaningful pleasures of life—she was an avid reader of mystery books and enjoyed gardening, thrifting, line dancing, bingo, and bocce. Her days were often brightened by these pastimes, and she shared that warmth with those around her.

She was also an active part of her community, participating in the AZ American Italian Club, the Phoenix Senior Center, and AZ Community church, where her presence was valued and her friendships were many.

Visitation will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248, US, on July 7, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral services will follow from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Burial will take place at Valley of the Sun Cemetery on July 7, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
