Carolyn Neher

Carolyn Neher (Fredericks), 92, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025. She was born on December 12, 1932, in Meeker, Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Elementary Education. She spent the majority of her adult life in Arizona as a public school teacher and loved teaching children the joy of reading.

Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, cherished by all who knew her. She is survived by her children Scott (67), Patrick (63) and his wife, Elizabeth (61); Susan (60) and her husband Mark (61) . Carolyn was also a beloved grandmother to Tanner (32), Brianna (30), Sammy (18) and great-grandmother to Henry (9 months).

Carolyn enjoyed being outdoors and belonged to Arizona Outdoor Club participating in hiking and biking. She loved to sing and throughout her life belonged to Sweet Adelines and various choirs and clubs and she also loved square dancing.

Throughout her life, Carolyn found joy in the company of her family and friends. She was surrounded by love and family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and grace.

A service will be held at Fellowship Square Mesa in the Grand Community Room at 125 West Brown Road, Mesa 85201 at 10:00am on December 6th, 2025.
