Katy was married to her beloved husband, Paul, for 62 cherished years, until his passing in 2022.

She is survived by her children: Stephanie (Dean), Daniel (Renee), and David (Brenda). She deeply adored her 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.

She carried her strength like a quiet whisper. It was felt by everyone around her. As the soft-spoken matriarch of the family, she was both bold and gentle, her warm, thoughtful presence leaving an impact on all who knew her.

Katy had a passion for plants and the outdoors, and she found happiness in shopping, dancing, music, and spending time with those she loved.

A life of devotion, Katy leaves behind a legacy of resilience, generosity, and unwavering love. Her absence will be felt deeply by all who loved her.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, cemetery placement at Valley of the Sun Cemetery at 12:30 pm, and a reception to follow at the home of Danny Ayala (2412 East Juanita Ave. Mesa , AZ 85204)
