

Cleo R. Carrera, 95 passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022. She was born in Tempe Arizona on November 28, 1927. Cleo is a fourth generation Arizonian, raised in Chandler, attended Chandler High school up to the 9th grade.
She was married to Henry L. Carrera on October 23, 1950, in Chandler, Arizona, until his passing in 2015 (65 years of marriage), they moved to Casa Grande in 1957. Cleo was a homemaker and worked part-time at JC Penney. She was a member of the Homako Hospital Auxiliary and the Casa Grande Women’s Golf League. She had a passion for caring for her family, dancing, gardening, golfing and going to the casino.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Raymond) Lara, Cynthia Carrera (Bob McCracken), and Christina Carrera, along with her six grandchildren, Rudy, Ronnie (Suzanne) Mejia, Natalie Rose (Matthew Schwab), Scott, Bridgette Bell, Rich Elias and eight great grandchildren; Siblings are: Ruthie Armendariz, John, Joey and Archie Rodriguez.
Funeral Services will be private and are being handled by Valley of the Sun – Chandler, Arizona. Our deepest gratitude to Desert Gardens Assisted Living in Ahwatukee, Arizona and previously Family Tree in Casa Grande, Arizona for the care of our Mother.
