Clyde Benjamin Logan, age 92, of Chandler, AZ., passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Chandler Regional Hospital. Clyde was born June 11, 1923 in Hamilton, Mississippi to the late Ben and Maude Logan. Clyde retired from the US Postal Service in 1983. Clyde served in World War II and the Korean Conflict and retired from the United States Army in 1963. Clyde was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Gara Crosby Logan. He is survived by three daughters: Gatha Warner of Tempe, AZ., Ruth Logan of Chandler, AZ. And Melba Dykema of Bailey, CO., 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and one sister, Louise Grant of Caledonia, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 2PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary at 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, AZ. Visitation will be on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
