Connie Alyene Howell

She was born in Kilgore, Texas, on Sept 26, 1943. Connie is survived by her husband, Jack Howell; three daughters, Cheryl Dimaria and her husband Mark of Chandler, Arizona; Carrie Peterson and her husband, Mark, of Sedona, Arizona; Angie Burchette and her husband, James, of Louisville, Texas; a son, Bill Howell, of Portland, Oregon; five grandchildren; and her sister, Bonnie Greenwood, of Allen, Texas.

Connie was a big proponent of Women’s Rights while working for Fridge-a-King in Dallas during the early ‘70’s; and later worked 15 years for Raychem Aerospace in Dallas. In 1991, Connie and Jack moved to Mesa, Arizona with the onset of her illness, Pulmonary Fibrosis. She’s been living in Sun Lakes since 2001. Connie was a loving friend, mother and grandmother; and the life of very party…she will be dearly missed.

Connie’s memorial service will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary in Chandler, Arizona; and a Celebration of Life reception will be at the Sun Lakes Cottonwood Saguaro Room on April 16th.
