I chose to be a writer when I realized it was the words of others, written upon a page, that made me go further.
I chose to be a writer because I wanted to help others the way I’ve been helped.
Through vulnerability.
I chose to write.
Every day.
Selfishly.
To help myself.
To heal.
And the irony? In healing myself, I have the potential to connect with others through my soul impressed upon the pages.
And I’m beyond content with that.”
