I am so sorry to not be able to talk to Dave. We grew up on the same street and I had recently found him on Facebook. 

I have such fond memories of our street and of him. 

Dave and I grew up next door neighbors in Sunnyside Wa.  His parents were Bill and Fern Hamilton, and his younger sister is Racine.  Dave joined the Coast Guard after high school.   Though I've not had contact with Dave for many years, just due to distance, I do have fond memories of him and his sister & parents.  

My father owned a half-Arab half American Saddler named Red, at 16 hands a large and spirited horse.  Dad would ride him, and he trained me to ride him as a child, but he'd not let the neighborhood kids ride him, fearing for their safety.  I remember Dave was very proud to have graduated into the "able to ride Red" category .  He was very pleased.

Our condolences to Racine and other family and friends.  I apologize for the lateness of this memorial, but I just now heard.  I am sorry at Dave's passing.  

So sorry to hear of Dave's Passing. We were neighbors across the street when we were kids growing up. We had the best neighbors and the greatest of times! There will never be another neighborhood like it! RIP Dave! Condolences to his Family!
