Deborah Jo Laird

Debbie Jo was born on January 11, 1968 in Carlsbad, NM to Paul and Jo Ann ( Allen ) DiCamillo. She graduated from Buena Vista High in Buena Vista, Colorado in 1986. Deborah married John Laird in Buena Vista in 1992. She worked as a real estate agent in Las Vegas, Nevada then moved to Phoenix, Arizona where Debbie Jo and John made their home. She became a very successful loan officer for many years earning Presidents’ Club honors on numerous occasions. She was an active member in the Arizona Humane Society and cared deeply for her cats, Lainani and Keilani. Debbie Jo loved to travel and experience all the world had to offer especially the islands of Hawaii.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband John of Phoenix ,her father Paul, and mother Jo Ann DiCamillo of Loving, NM, her sister Doni J. Olsen and her husband Jim, her brother Louie DiCamillo and his wife Tammy all of Carlsbad,NM and her other brother Steven DiCamillo, of Cripple Creek, CO. Grandmother Waunitta DiCamillo, of Yarnell, AZ. Many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services in Phoenix will be held at the Foothills Baptist Church in Ahwatukee on Tuesday November 8th at 11:00 AM.

Graveside services will be held at the Sunset Cemetery in Carlsbad, NM at 10:00 am on Friday November 11th , with Chaplain Terry McKean officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Human Society.
