Dennis graduated from Syracuse University where he received a Bachelor's in Architecture. It was there that he became an ardent 'Cuse football and basketball fan. He also served our country in the U.S. Army from 1968 through 1970. Dennis had a life-long love of cars and enjoyed Formula 1 racing and showing his classic 1962 C-1 Corvette with the Corvette Club of Arizona.
Dennis is survived by his son, Kevin Michael Cox, his daughter Kerri Lynn Cox Chamberlin, his son-in-law Gerard Chamberlin, his granddaughters Rachael Ruth Chamberlin and Julia Grace Chamberlin, and his brother Bruce Cox (NY). He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Carole (Shapiro) Cox.
A graveside service will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248, United States. The service is scheduled for July 24, 2025 at 9:00 am.
