Dolores Ruth LeGault, born in Buffalo, New York, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2026, in Kansas City, Kansas. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Dolores lived a life filled with love, adventure, and creativity.
Dolores and her husband, Tony, were happily married for sixty-nine years. Together they traveled the world, but their hearts were always drawn back to Alaska, where they spent many joyful days fishing. Dolores often caught more fish than Tony—and she never hesitated to make sure everyone knew it. Tony kept taking her anyway, a testament to their playful, enduring bond.
A talented and successful businesswoman, Dolores owned and managed a flower shop in Mesa, Arizona for over twenty years. She poured her heart into her work, creating beautiful floral arrangements that brought joy to countless people. Her artistry, dedication, and warm presence made her shop a beloved part of the community.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, her granddaughter, Dolores; and her great grandson, Harrison. She is survived by her husband, Tony LeGault; her sons, Michael and Mark LeGault; her daughter, Dawn Cramer; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff of The Piper for the compassionate care they provided during her stay, and to Monarch Hospice for their loving support in her final days.
Dolores will be remembered for her strength, humor, generosity, and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
Dolores will be honored at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, Arizona 85248, for a Rosary and Celebration of Life on November 30, 2026, beginning at 10:00 am.
