Dorothy Strickland, 86, of Sun Lakes, AZ, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010. She was born in Pike County, Georgia on to the late James L. Almon and Ora Lee Sikes Almon. She has resided in Sun Lakes since 1986, after moving from Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Strickland Hill and grandson, Brennan Hill both of Chandler. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Joseph L. Strickland. Services will be held Tuesday, April 13th at 11am at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery in Chandler. Family visitation will take place at 10am the same day. Interment will be at the Valley of the Sun Cemetery.
