

Eileen Martha McCoy ,72 entered God`s Glorious Kingdom on May 9th ,2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. The week preceding her death and at the time of her death she was surrounded by her family and loving friends.
Born in Albany , NY she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Rose Goudreau. She was employed by the National Commercial Bank where she met her future husband Don . They were married on May 2nd ,1965 and had recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. During the early years of their marriage, they moved often, living in Ft Wayne Indiana, Chicago , IL. and Southern and Northern California due to her husband’s career.
Through each move she created wonderful homes for her family, thanks to her keen interest in design. At each new destination she made close friends she would keep for life. In addition to being a superlative home maker she was also President of the Ft Wayne and Yorba Linda Newcomers Clubs; and became Vice President of St Steven`s Ladies Guild in Sun Lakes, Az.
Eileen and Don lived in the Sun Lakes area for the past 16 years creating many new and dear friendships. Eileen had a great fondness for dogs, having rescued many from the Humane Society over the years. She also loved to travel and had visited many destinations around the world. She loved to decorate for every holiday, especially Christmas, and spent weeks preparing the house to make it wondrous and festive. She enjoyed playing Bunco and Dominoes with her friends regularly. Eileen was full of life and mirth and was known for her sense of humor. She loved to dance, and deeply loved her family and friends. She was a dedicated wife, that gave so much to her husband, children, and grandchildren whom she adored.
She is survived by her husband Don, her loving supportive son Christopher, daughter Lauren, brother Lloyd Goudreau ,grandchildren Cierra ,Cody, Kayla ,Cameron. , daughter in law Jennifer ,son -in - law Scott Graham, her aunt, and several loving cousins.
To her husband Don, she was everything in his world, his rock, his partner and the love of his life. She is at peace now, and pain free and in heaven enjoying the company of her family and pets who preceded her in death . A Memorial Service will be held at St Stevens Catholic Church , 24827 South Dobson Road at 10 am on Friday May 20th.. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to:
