Elizabeth Murtha Frazier

Elizabeth L Murtha Frazier, 94, of Gilbert, AZ, died surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday (April 15, 2018). Betty was born in Hartford, CT to Patrick and Ina (Hayes) Murtha. She married Robert Frazier Sr. and started her family. Caring for her family was her passion. She is survived by her ten children, Elaine Malinguaggi of Florida and Robert Frazier, Jr. of Spain, Gerald and Dottie Frazier of East Hampton, CT, Paul Frazier of Florida, William and Cathy Frazier of Mesa, AZ, Joanne Frazier of Mesa, AZ, Peter Frazier of Middletown, CT, Michael and Susan Frazier of Mesa, AZ, Patrick Frazier of San Tan Valley, AZ, and Beth and Curtis Leggitt of Gilbert, AZ, She is also survived by her two siblings, Rose D'Auria of Florida, and Robert Murtha, CT and her grandchildren: Regina, Robert, Rose, Ronne, Brian, Kelly, Karen, Tim, Roberta, Sean, Chris, Jackie, Michael, Kelsey, Katheryn, Roberto Juan and Tamara and her great grandchildren Matthew, Bianca, Alanna, Matthew Kyle, Alexis, Alyse and Ashley and a great-great grandchild Isabella Sophia. Born in Hartford, CT, Betty was the 3rd oldest of ten, and was a former resident of Hartford, Rocky Hill and Cromwell, CT for many years. Betty was preceded by her son, Mark Frazier, her husband, Robert Frazier Sr and seven siblings Helen Post, Alice Andrioli, Katherine Murtha, Dorothy Piotroski, Lucille Vincenti, Raymond Murtha, and Frank Murtha. Betty retired from Traveler’s Insurance in Hartford, CT, where she was a Claims Processor. Previously she was employed at G. Foxes Department Store, and she served as a supervisor at the Rationing Board during World War II.
