Erlinda Gutierrez Valenzuela, 82, of Tempe, AZ passed away on April 12, 2017. She was born to Francisco and Josefa Duran Gutierrez in Rincon, New Mexico. She was an excellent cook, and loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband Robert V. Valenzuela, Sons Marcus G. Serrano (Dawn), and Michael G. Serrano (Suzee), Step-son Robert Valenzuela Jr. (Patty), Daughters Rosemarie S. Behzadpour (Mahmoud), Annamaria S. Valencia (Frankie), and Josephine G. Serrano, Step-daughter Nora Martinez (Armondo), 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and her brother Eduardo D. Gutierrez. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:00am with a Rosary following at 11:00am at Lakeshore Mortuary; 1815 S. Dobson Rd. Mesa, AZ 85202. Erlinda will be laid to rest following the service at Valley of the Sun Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd. Chandler, AZ 85248.
