

God in his infinite wisdom, power and divine love called his heavenly beautiful angel, our dearest and loving mother, ESTHER WHITE ELLIS, Age 95, to her eternal home. Gracefully, Esther Ellis entered peacefully in heaven on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at her home in Chandler, Arizona surrounded by her family.
ESTHER WHITE was born on July 26, 1930, to Lula White Wilson and John Petersen in McColl, Marlboro County in South Carolina later relocated to Fayetteville, North Carolina and Chandler Arizona. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Lula White Wilson, her father, John Petersen, her sister, Queen Singleton, and her daughter, Betty Ellis Dickerson and her husband John Thomas Ellis.
Phenomenal Christian woman, highly respected by her family and friends. Esther was very dedicated to her faith with strong character, compassionate, kind-hearted friendly attitude, and truly an exceptional woman.
Esther confessed Christ at an early age at Smith Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina. In 1950, she met and married John Thomas Ellis of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Upon relocating to Arizona, she attended Chandler Christian Center (now Compass Church) for several years. Living her life with happiness, faithfulness and compassion for all. She shared her passion for dining at local favorite restaurants and enjoyed listening and singing gospel music. She loved participating in activities at the Oakmont Center, and Chandler Senior Center.
Her career included working as personal care CNA in Health care, Hostess in Food Services and Hospitality for several years at Fort Bragg Base and Fayetteville, North Carolina. She received a Performance Award from Department of the Air Force in Fort Bragg, NC. She was very devoted, intelligent, and generous to family, friends, and co-workers. Hobbies included reading, art projects, shopping, music, and traveling around Arizona, California, North Carolina and Nevada.
She is survived by her Daughters, Linda Ellis (Chandler, Arizona) and Calvenea Malloy (Chandler, Arizona) and Grandchildren: Menia Gautier, Carter Dickerson, Roger Ellis and Maurice Malloy and Great grandchildren, a host of extensive family and friends, with whom she has cherished precious memories forever.
Services will be held at Rockfish Memorial Park Gravesite on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 @ 11:00 a.m.in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
