Ethel was born in Seymour, Missouri to Jessie and Ola Mae Aleshire.
She grew up in Missouri along with her siblings , Leon Aleshire, Donald Aleshire, Elroy Aleshire, Johnny Aleshire, Lawrence Aleshire, Bob Aleshire, Elizabeth Lawyer, Phyllis Kline, Lloyd Aleshire, Linnie Aleshine
In 1938 she married the love of her life, William Clayton.
Eventually they moved to Arizona, where she remained for the rest of her life.
Ethel will be remembered for being the Best Mother and Grandma anyone could ask for. She was known for making the best banana pudding and butterscotch pudding ever, no matter how hard you try to copy it she would say my special ingredient is I Make it with Love.
She has 4 children: Dixie Hutto, Judy Mills, Jesse Clayton and Richard Clayton, 15 grandkids, 35 great grandkids, 53 great great grandkids and 5 great great great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers and one sister.
