Jody had 6 children, 18 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
That is the incredible legacy she leaves behind,not just the number of people who called her Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma, but the love, memories, traditions, and pieces of her that live inside each of us.
As difficult as it is to say goodbye, I find comfort imagining that her husband was there waiting for her with open arms and flowers in his hands, ready to welcome her home.
I hope she knew just how loved she was and how much she meant to all of us. Rest peacefully, Jody. Your family will carry your love with us always.
