Francis Geraldine Holt

Francie 86, our beloved Wife, Mom, Grandma and GreatGrandma, has moved to heaven to join our family. She is survived by her husband John Holt, son Fred Holt daughter-in-law Jeri Louk; Daughter Kellie Dirksen, son-in-law Joe Dirksen; Grandchildren Joey, Steven, Mallory and Megan; and seven GreatGrandchildren .

Francie was born in Bakersfield California. She met Johnny Holt in 1958 while waterskiing at Shasta Lake. Known to most as Johnny and Francie they were married in 1959. Their son Fred was born in 1960 and their daughter Kellie was born in 1964. In 1964 they purchased their first home in Fremont California and began raising their family. They continued enjoying boating and water skiing. In 1977 they moved their family to Arizona. They continued enjoying boating and water skiing. During their retirement they enjoyed vacationing on the West Coast of Canada. While also traveling throughout the U.S. in their motorhome. Later in their life they enjoyed off road quad riding in northern Arizona. In 2011 Francie was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. Although the disease limited her activities, her husband and family surrounded her with care and love. The last three years of her life she was cared for at a wonderful Group Home. Francie was blessed to have two loving personal caregivers, Cathy and Angelo. She passed away comfortably and peacefully surrounded by your family on November 9, 2025. She will always be remembered as a devoted, Wife, loving mom and the best grandma ever!

Viewing will be Friday, November 21st from 11am-1pm and a Graveside service following from 1-2pm at Valley Of The Sun Mortuary & Cemetery.
