Gary Wayne Wittkopf, 70 of Chandler, AZ passed away December 25, 2024, at his home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Arizona Woodworkers at https://azwoodworkers.org/charity.
Gary was born August 7, 1954, in Hannibal, MO to Frank and Alma (Bliven) Wittkopf. Gary graduated from Gardner High School in 1972. He served in the Army for 16 years. Most recently, Gary worked at Republic Service for several years as Corporate Operations Support Manager. Gary always cherished spending time with his family and friends. He loved his sons dearly and cherished every moment with them. He loved playing golf, working on cars, and woodworking, especially with his sons. He will be dearly missed by all.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alma Wittkopf, and sister, Judith Nastasi. Gary is survived by his children: Ethan Wittkopf of Chandler, AZ, and Alex Wittkopf of Inlet Beach, FL, two sisters, Janet Wittkopf of Gardner, KS and Sandy (Randy) Rieger of Gardner, KS, nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, and a host of wonderful friends.
Celebration of Life:
A Celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 6 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at The Phoenician Tavern located at the Phoenician Golf Course in Scottsdale, AZ. Appetizers and drinks will be served.
