

George went to school at Oregon State University then on to dental school in Portland, Oregon. After dental school, George joined the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant in 1967 to 1970. George served as a dentist on the Paul Revere in Vietnam.
While living in Oregon, George belonged to the Masons and Shriners. After moving to Arizona, he worked in the Phoenix area until he started his own practice in Bullhead City, where he finally retired.
George was active in his community serving as a board member on numerous organizations such as Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, Los Madadores and Chaparral Country Club. George was also a lifetime member of the Elks, VFW, and The Grand Lodge of A.F. and A.M. of Oregon. George loved golf and belonged to a traveling golf group called “Compadres.”
He is survived by his wife, Lyn; four stepsons, Jamie (Heather), Cody (Jennifer), Chris, and Nick Steinfeld. He also has two grandsons, Jacob and JT; and four granddaughters, Megan, Madison, Brittany and Kendall. George was preceded in death by his two sons, David and Bryan.
George’s cremains will be placed at the Veterans National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix with his immediate family present.
