

Gregory (Greg) M. Chrysler, 56, of Sun Lakes, AZ, passed away on August 11th, 2011 after battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). He was born in Washington D.C. on December 27, 1954 and raised in Minnesota. After receiving his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota, in mechanical engineering, specializing in thermal sciences, he went to work for IBM in New York. He then moved to Arizona to join Intel and most recently he worked for NMB Technologies Corp. In addition he has served as Associate Technical Editor of the ASME Journal of Heat Transfer. Greg has authored numerous technical papers, and held over 103 issued patents in electronics cooling. In recent times, he received a prestigious award by being elected as an ASME Fellow by the ASME Board of Directors.
Greg was preceded in death by his father Keith Chrysler Sr. He is survived by his wife of over 33 years, Sonja Chrysler; his mother Eileen Chrysler, his two brothers, Robert (Patricia) Chrysler and Keith Chrysler Jr., and extended family members.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, August 20th, 4:00pm at Redemption Church, 1820 W Elliot Road, Gilbert, AZ 85233.
