Harold James Michel, Jr., 77, of Chandler, AZ, passed away on March 10, 2015. Harold was born in Jersey City, NJ. After graduating from high school, Harold enlisted in the U. S. Air Force to begin his life’s adventure. At discharge, Harold joined the early computing age as a Systems Analyst, earning a B. S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In 1964, he married Shirley Ann and together they travelled across Europe before settling down in their first home in New Jersey to start their family. They later moved West living in Montana and Oregon before retiring to Arizona. Harold leaves his wife; sons Douglas, Keith and Brett; daughters-in-law Jill and Alicia; and two grandsons Jacob and Camden. He is also survived by a brother Frederick W. Michel. Harold touched many lives through his various professional and volunteer activities. He was loved and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at the Veterans National Cemetery in Phoenix on Friday, April 3, at 1 PM.
