Helen L. Drake (97) passed away July 10th, 2025. She was born May 4th, 1928 in Watertown, SD to Guy and Minnie Peterson. She had a sister Arline Frantz. Helen worked many years at Norwest Bank in Watertown. She retired to Thermopolis, WY to be near her son, then to AZ. She enjoyed many international trips to Australia, Continental Europe, Russia, Scandinavia, Alaska and Nova Scotia.
Mom loved to take pictures, sew, cook, read, collect maps, garden, play piano and walk. She was known as a world class cookie baker. She enjoyed the MN Twins and Vikings. Her church was very important to her and she read devotions daily.
Helen is survived by her son Dr. Guy (Beth) Drake and daughter Robin (Bruce) Reiners, five grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and a special nephew Doug (Laurie) Frantz. Services will be held in Idaho.
