

Helen Delores "Dee" Ricketts, 95, of Columbus, died Saturday, February 8, 2014 in Arizona. She was born June 11, 1918 in Columbus to the late Oscar and Florence (Ruffing) Mueller. She was a 1935 graduate of West High School, a member of the Excelsior Society and attended Capital University. Dee was a bookkeeper at the Athletic Club of Columbus. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her great grandson Jaret Cerino, brother James Mueller and brother-in-law Don Mueller. She is survived by four children, Jerry (Jill) Ricketts, Jayne Starkey, James (Ruth) Ricketts and Jeff (Mary) Ricketts; grandchildren, John Ricketts, Lisa (Mike) Hunter, Robert Willis, Mark (Vicki) Willis, Luke Willis, Teresa Ricketts, Tracy Ricketts, Tina (Guy) Cerino, Tara (Dan Shook) Ricketts, Leah (Kenneth) Turnbull, Stacy (Mike) Randolph and Aaron (Andrea) Ricketts, Tina, Tim, Trisha, Travis and Trulee; great grandchildren, Josh Barnick, Carly (Mike Burke) Barnick, Markus, MacKenzie, Mallory, Mason, Kristin, Samantha and Wesley Willis, Jacob and Jackson Cerino, Jordon and Jamie Unger, Leith Turnbull, Hunter and Cody Venne and Jonathan Randolph, Atalia & Aiden Ricketts Morgan, Macie, Garrett, Griffin, Jagger, Jaylee and Jersey; sister, Betty Mueller; sister-in-law, Helen Mueller; many nephews and nieces. Dee enjoyed her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan and loved the Buckeyes. Family will receive friends Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Galloway Cemetery.
