Henry Clayton Warren

Henry Clayton Warren of Chandler, AZ passed away peacefully with many family members nearby February 2nd, 2025 one day past his 87th birthday. Henry was born in Topeka, KS February 01, 1938 to Clarence Wesley Waren and Georgia Willis. He was the youngest of five children who all preceded him in death, Helen, Mary Jean, Wesley, and Norma. Henry’s family moved to Litchfield Park, AZ near the end of World War II, then later moved to Chandler, AZ where Henry graduated from Chandler High School. Henry served in the Navy for five years as a radarman and worked for Western Electric his entire career.

Henry loved life and enjoyed golfing, coaching baseball, playing cards and bingo at Solera, and supporting his kids, grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews in all of their activities. He encouraged everyone with a big smile on his face, accompanied by whistling a tune. His faith in Jesus Christ was evidenced in the way he lived the Golden Rule.

Henry is survived by his former spouse Barbara and their children Michael (Trisha), Sharon (Michael) Fay, and Paul (Brenda). 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Henry’s beloved wife Mary Benensky preceded him in death. His other children include Thomas (Jana) Peterson, Stephen Peterson (deceased), Teresa Benensky, and John Benensky. 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
