Born in Sofia Bulgaria August 14, 1932, passed away in Scottsdale Arizona November 15, 2014. The first 30 years of his life he was fighting communism while in a concentration camp for 10 years. He escaped Bulgaria via Italy, then came to America. Ivan worked in a steel factory in Wisconsin. Seeking warmer weather he drove to Arizona. He was a chemist, he worked on the Apache Helicopter then taught Chemistry and Physics for the U.S. Department of Defense in Korea and England. Ivan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dorris.
