

Jaime was born in Chihuahua, Mexico to parents Urbano Jaime Lasso and Bertha Tiscareno in 1942. He spent his early childhood in Chihuahua and Juarez, Mexico, moving to Chicago, Illinois with his father when he was a teenager. He attended high school in El Paso Texas, and then moved to Phoenix, where he attended Phoenix College and worked at Motorola. He spent most of his working life at Motorola as an electronics technician and engineer. He enjoyed the hands-on aspect of working with circuits, electronic devices and equipment. As an employee at Motorola, he was published and earned a Motorola Silver Quill award.
He became a United States citizen in 1996 and retired from Motorola in 1998.
Jaime also loved, and was good at, fixing electronics around the house like televisions and radios, and building things, like a playhouse and an entertainment center. He will be remembered for barbecuing in the backyard, his garden filled with tomatoes, zucchini squash, cilantro and cucumbers, road trips to the mountains and to Mexico, and his care and generosity to family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, and leaves behind his three daughters and their families, his wife, two sisters and a brother, nieces and nephews and cousins and their families, and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 11:30 AM at Noah's Event Venue 2100 E Yeager Drive, Chandler, Arizona 85286.
