Janice Claire Goist, age 89, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin on August 17, 1933. Janice "Jan" Goist graduated from East High School in 1951. She was married to Gerald Goist on July 26, 1958 in Wisconsin.
Jan had a career as an office clerk in telecommunication. She had a passion for reading and her dogs.
She is survived by her children Randy M. Goist (Debbie), Joni Anderson (Bruce), Vicki Goist-Greenburg (Bernie); grandchildren Jeremy (deceased), Jennifer and Joella Goist, Brian and Jennifer Galvez; great-grandchildren Luke, Alex, Landon, Duke, Zackary, Jeremy Jr, Annabelle, Kayson, Braxton, Callie and Korbin.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Goist, and her brother Bob Hall.
A graveside service for Janice will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.
